LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care
You belong here, exactly as you are
Your identity is not the problem to be solved. It is part of who you are, and it is welcome here. Care is delivered by secure telehealth across the Acadiana region and throughout Louisiana, so you can find an affirming counselor without needing one in your own town.
- Your name and pronouns are used correctly, from the first contact onward.
- Your identity is never treated as a disorder or a cause of your symptoms.
- No practice that attempts to change sexual orientation or gender identity is used here, ever.
- You decide how much of your history you want to discuss, and when.
For LGBTQIA+ Youth & Families
Support for teens, and for the parents who love them
Counseling here is available for children ages 5 and up, adolescents, and teens, as well as adults. Young people can have a private, affirming space to talk about identity, stress at school, anxiety, or anything else on their mind, from the comfort of home.
Parents and caregivers are welcome too. Whether your child has just come out or you are still finding your footing, support can help your family stay connected. Parents or guardians are involved in consent for minors.
